|
Vanessa has a Master’s degree from Argosy University in Counseling Psychology. She has over three years of experience working with children and families in various areas. Vanessa has worked in the special education field as a therapist to high school students and their families. She has also worked in foster care with children ages 2 to 18 on issues of attachment, grief, neglect, and abuse. Vanessa incorporates play, art, and other creative therapeutic techniques in her work with children. She feels that children have difficulty processing in traditional therapeutic environments and gain more when play and/or art are included. Vanessa strives to help her clients bring balance back to their lives. Vanessa believes that all of her clients deserve a respectful, safe, and empathetic environment no matter what their age is. Contact her for more information on reduced rate counseling for children and families.
